  • Evaluate a specific cross-cultural context for ministry potential examining current demographic data and cultural values

  • Isolate specific needs of the context to ascertain prospective ministry opportunities

  • Examine current Christian engagement with in the cross-cultural context for potential networking opportunities

  • Construct a cross-cultural mission strategy for a current ministry context

  • Compare and contrast different models of cross-cultural mission work and select an appropriate model that would work within the chosen context

  • Examine and plan for practical considerations to maximise the potential of the strategy

Requirements

  • Passion for participating in the great commission across cultural barriers

  • Be able to appreciate the variety of cultures found on this planet and the implications for ministry strategy

  • Be aware that ministry among people of different world views will take you out of your comfort zone and into a deeper understanding of what the gospel really means

Instructor(s)

Pastor Kay Dohle

Kay has dedicated her life to ministry. After pioneering a Young Adult Ministry training program at her local church, she then relocated to Asia as Mobilisations & Placement Officer with Assemblies of God World Missions. Since returning to Australia she has held senior leadership roles with Harvest Bible College and continued to work with churches across the country to help them equip Christian leaders to changer their world.
